About the Respect Round
Sport is a highly influential part of Australian society that can help build and set positive community standards for respect and equality on and off the field.
Starick and SportWest have partnered to champion respectful relationships and gender equality. The Respect Round is part of this initiative with the shared goals of building cultures of respect and gender equality on and off the field.
Gender-based violence is a national crisis; nearly 1 in 3 Australian women experience physical violence. Gender inequality drives this, making gender equality vital to the solution.
The Respect Round Campaign promotes gender equality, and safety in sport, by creating inclusive environments where everyone feels safe and valued. The Campaign aims to create foundations for lasting social and cultural change through community involvement and education.
How it Works
Clubs and organisations choose an appropriate date to host their Respect Round and register below to receive the Respect Round Campaign Pack comprising:
