Starick Services Website Accessibility Statement

Starick is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to provide a website that is inclusive, easy to use, and accessible to the broadest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

Our Commitment

We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website and aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which provide internationally recognised standards for digital accessibility.

Our goal is to ensure that visitors can:

  1. Navigate the website using a keyboard or assistive technologies.
  2. Access content with screen readers and other accessibility tools.
  3. Read content with sufficient colour contrast and clear typography.
  4. Resize text and view content across a range of devices and screen sizes.
  5. Access information through clear and consistent navigation and page structures

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we regularly review our website to identify and address accessibility barriers. We welcome feedback from users to help us improve the experience for everyone.

Third-Party Content

While we strive to ensure accessibility across our website, some third-party applications, documents, or linked websites may not be fully accessible. We encourage providers of these services to meet accessibility standards and work to offer accessible alternatives wherever possible.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which Starick works and delivers services, the Whadjuk and Binjareb people of the Noongar Nation, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

We recognise that the impacts of colonisation, dispossession, racism and intergenerational trauma continue to affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. We acknowledge the disproportionate impact of family and domestic violence on many Aboriginal women and children, and the strength, resilience and leadership of Aboriginal communities in healing and preventing violence.

We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and that this always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
