Board of Directors Vacancies

Starick, a specialist family and domestic violence organisation with a 40-year history in Western Australia, is seeking expressions of interest from governance professionals to join its Board.

Following a period of significant organisational growth over the past 18 months, we are recruiting new Non-Executive Directors with capability to support a more complex operating environment and contribute to strong, contemporary governance.

Priority Skills Sought

Accounting / Finance

To serve as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee; CA/CPA qualifications desirable

  • People & Culture / HR
  • Workforce strategy, organisational culture, capability and leadership development
  • Information Technology / Cyber Security
  • Digital risk governance, cyber resilience, IT transformation

Applicants with broader governance, strategy, risk or NFP experience are also encouraged to apply.

Commitment:

  • Volunteer director role
  • Active participation on at least one Board sub-committee
  • Meetings held in Perth, with hybrid options available

Starick provides crisis accommodation, outreach, specialist children’s services, and Safe at Home programs for women, children and young people escaping family and domestic violence.
